The Neighborhood 3D Printable Enviroment
I decided to create this environment for 3D printing with miniatures and dollhouses in mind. I'm quite enthusiastic about crafting miniature scenarios, so I designed this piece to be accessible for anyone to print and assemble. I began by sketching out the concept and drawing inspiration from visuals like Polly Pocket, as well as being a fan of Blade Runner 2049, which influenced my initial approach.
My miniatures draw inspiration from the serene landscapes of Japan and the futuristic aesthetics of tomorrow. I've integrated real nighttime locations from Japan's urban scene and merged them with modern technological elements, resulting in a unique fusion. My focus has been on crafting hard surface details, and each miniature is optimized for 3D printing. To ensure ease of production, I've incorporated an assembly mechanism and designed it to fit within a 200mmx200mmx30mm print space. Some of the miniatures even offer the possibility of adding LEDs to enhance the visual impact.
Six scenarios complete the neighborhood: a house pod and arcade, a mall, a bar station, a food truck, and a doll machine/coffee shop.

A food truck that sells hamburgers and features numerous speakers on its roof to announce its specialties. The food truck is equipped with movable tires, allowing you to shift it from back to front as needed.
